These terms cover the Don't Spike iOS app and this website. Using either means you accept them.
Not a medical device
This app shows information from Apple Health to help you understand patterns. It is not a medical device, does not give medical advice, and does not replace your CGM app or its alarms. Always confirm with your meter and your care team before making treatment decisions.
Don't Spike displays and describes information from Apple Health. It does not diagnose, does not give treatment or dosing advice, does not predict glucose, and does not provide alarms. Keep using your CGM app for sensor pairing and alerts.
Your account
An account is needed only for the AI buddy. You are responsible for keeping access to your sign-in method. You can delete the account from Settings at any time.
The AI buddy
Buddy answers from your own summarised data and general published facts. Its answers can be wrong or incomplete. There is a daily message allowance in the free tier.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service to process other people's health data without their permission, or attempt to disrupt it.
Changes and liability
The app and this site are provided as is, without warranty. We may change or stop the service; we will give notice where we reasonably can. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for decisions made on the basis of information shown in the app.
